Breathe
When she starts high school, Tessa, a 16-year-old teenager who dreams of becoming a singer, puts all the odds in her favor by choosing the music option. She and her best friend Inès have a plan: to form a duo and get noticed so they can move to Paris, where "everything happens." But very quickly, they become disillusioned. Inès prefers the siren call of the "popular" crowd and gradually abandons Tessa. Increasingly isolated, the shy teenager becomes an easy target for certain students who are jealous of her talent and her growing notoriety on social media. Mockery, bullying, aggression... Her daily life quickly becomes unbearable. Afraid that things will get worse, Tessa doesn't dare tell her parents about the harassment.
Based on the true story of singer Tessae, as portrayed in the biopic Frôler les murs, the TV movie Respire follows the transformation of an ambitious young singer who sinks into silence and despair after being bullied, mocked, and cyberbullied on social media.
