With the financial crisis, the French have become keen bargain hunters. Between subscriptions to reduce their phone bills and buying online, they will do anything to find a good deal. But these attractive offers sometimes conceal well-practised scams. But consumers are not only prey to fraudsters. Many people have also had to pay a high price for emergency plumbers or locksmiths.
